This is Jolly Runnings equivalent of a Christmas Cracker, it’s full of surprises!!
Christmas is a time for having fun and spending it with friends and family. Our 10k trail race promises you lots of fun to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Extremely Jolly
The Extremely Jolly is a totally unique trail race… The first and only trail running event to incorporate a 30 metre waterslide!! It will have you screaming with laughter!
This festive trail race gives you over 6 miles set in the stunning private grounds of the Escot Estate and not forgetting the waterslide!!
This is a beautiful location and the route offers a variety of trails, woodland tracks, rocky paths, streams, quaint bridges, fields and water crossings if the river water levels allow. There is always a generous helping of mud too! The course is challenging in places and it’s definitely not a flat easy fun run but we guarantee that you will have a generous serving of fun with lashings of laughter.
Festive fancy Dress is optional but highly encouraged as it adds to the festive spirit of the event.
A change of clothes for afterwards is recommended as you will get wet and muddy bums, tums and feet.
There will also be hot food and drinks vendors to warm yourselves up.
Onsite parking and portable toilets.
All finishers receive a bespoke Extremely Jolly medal.
Extremely Jolly 10k race
This 10k trail event is for over 17 year olds.

Capacity: 450 participants ( subject to change if restrictions apply )
Age Restriction: This event is restricted to over 17 year olds.
Bespoke Jolly Running Medal & Buff for every finisher.
Please Note: Your race information will be emailed to you in the week prior to the event. Race numbers are collected on the day from Race Hq.
Fancy Dress is highly encouraged as it adds to the fun and festive spirit of the event.
Cut off time for the race is 2 hours 30 minutes.
This event usually sells out so please enter early to avoid missing out on the fun.
There will also be our bespoke handmade prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Men and Ladies.
The deadline for all race transfers and deferrals is Sunday 30th November 2025
Deferrals & transfers are unable to be processed after this date.
Please DO NOT GIVE YOUR RACE NUMBER TO ANOTHER RUNNER TO RUN UNDER YOUR NAME. They will be disqualified.
Little Elves Fun Run
The Extremely Jolly Little Elves Fun Run
Our Little Elves Fun Run is taking place before the adults Extremely Jolly 10K race on Sunday 14th December 2025.
The fun run starts at 10am ( an hour before the main Extremely Jolly 10k event)
Entries close on Sunday 30th November at 9pm.
Entries are limited.
The Little Elves fun run is back this year to compliment our Extremely Jolly Event .
Organised specifically to include your little elves in the festive fun as we know they’ll be getting pretty excited for Christmas!!
This is perfect for them burning off some of that pre-Christmas excitement. They can experience a little taste of what the adults encounter on the Extremely Jolly.
The 1 mile fun run is on some of the paths, trails and fields around Escot.
There are no water crossings on this run.
The waterslide is purely for fun, it’s not compulsory that you experience it.
You will get wet bums and tums so a change of clothes is strongly recommended for afterwards.
Adults can enter with their children or solo as a pre-race warm up.
All participants need an entry.

As this is a fun run therefore there will be no place prizes, timings or published results.
There will be a bespoke medal for every finisher.
Due to the slide element the minimum age requirement for the Little Elves fun run is 8+ years. Sorry it’s for insurance purposes and we need to keep you safe.
Adults can enter too.
There will be hot food and drink vendors to warm you up.
This event has something for all the family and the adults can take part in our Extremely Jolly 10k trail race full of extra surprises!!
All participants need to 8 years old on race day.
